Miguel from newera (parts, imports, media) built an amazing demo car in the past six years with help of Knight Sports. The car’s due to be upgraded shortly to make 470- 480 bhp with an uprated engine, running 1.2 bar on a Knight Sports 480SS single turbo kit. Usually conversions like this on RX-7’s mean removal of the air pump and resultant high emissions. This in turn means difficulty passing the Japanese Shaken. Not with Knight Sports. The car runs a high flow catalyser, whilst retaining the pump and it passes the test without modification. Many handling modifications have also been made, as well as a lower final drive, braking modifications, etc. It’s a complete car designed to remain comfortable for normal driving, yet offer very fast performance when it’s needed.

Engine: Knight Sports Rebuilt & side ported engine with extra doweling for running increased boost, Knight Sports 480SS Single turbo conversion with oil jet bearings, Recirculating remote wastegate, air pump also retained. Knight Sports 3rd Generation V-Mount alloy Radiator & Intercooler retaining A/C, with custom alloy shrouding and pipework, Basic Knight Sports BOV, Knight Sports Alloy Air Seperator Tank, Knight Sports Large Throttle Body, Uprated Primary Injectors, 850cc Secondary Injectors, Knight Sports fuel pump, Apexi Power FC ECU & Controller, Knight Sports EBS IV boost controller & Racing Solenoid Control Valve, Custom electronic twin pump water injection system by Paul Port (UK) feeding from 40% methanol screenwash, Stillway uprated capacity twin oil coolers, Greddy Oil catch tank & Knight Sports Oil seperator tank with braided hoses, Samco Hoses, Knight Sports Anti Cavitation Water Pump Pulley kit, RE Amemiya uprated rubber engine mounts, Newera billet PAS & Brake Reservour caps, RE Amemiya alloy engine brace, Rotary oil cap, Knight Sports 5W50 Syntheric non-ester rotary racing oil. Boost 1.2 Bar / 475 bhp.



Exhaust: Knight Sports Metalit Sports Catalyst, Signal Auto Titanium Racing Exhaust (4.5kg).

Transmission: 2002 A-Spec gearbox. Knight Sports Dual Friction Clutch kit, Braided clutch hose, Mazdaspeed 2 way differential with 4.4 final drive gearing, RE Amemiya differential mounts, Mazdaspeed uprated power frame. Oberon fully synthetic racing gearbox & differential oils.
Suspension, Stability & Steering: Custom built Bilstein Coilover shock absorbers (Nishiki / Brocade Suspension Service) Dyno’d and tuned for optimum use with S Type Cut Slick tyres for fast road / race use. Note low amount of suspension travel, Advanced Recoil front and rear anti roll bars, Ikeya Formula anti bump-steer front track rod ends, Knight Sports Pillow Ball rear suspension bshes, Auto Exe Underbody brace set, Okuyama front strut brace, Border Alloy/ Carbon rear strut brace. Corner weighted & Geometry set for optimised progressive handling.
Wheels & Tyres: Mazdaspeed MS-01 forged lightweight 17” wheels, Bridgestone Potenza RE-01 235/45ZR17 Front. 265/40ZR17 rear. RAYS lightweight alloy wheelnuts with matching locking nut.

Brakes: Brembo F50 4 Piston callipers, 355mm front discs with alloy bells, RZ uprated large diameter AP Racing slotted rear discs, Fujita Engineering Uprated Master Cylinder. Endless CC-X Carbon Metallic Brake Pads front and rear, Earls braided hoses, Endless Racing DOT 4 Brake fluid.

Interior: Bride Gias Low Max reclinable Sports seats & adjustable rails, Mazdaspeed Carbon look Centre Console, Dashboard and door insert panels, Newera Carbon Look Gear gaiter, Mazdaspeed Carbon look gearknob, KEY!S Racing 330mm suede covered steering wheel, Mazdaspeed 300 km/h Speedometer, Defi Link Controller and 52mm gauges with: Greddy 52mm A pilar Pod for Oil Temp, Custom Dash pod for 60mm Boost gauge, Tripower Centre dash pod for Oil Pressure and Water Temp Gauges, Knight Sports EBS IV boost Controller unit, Control for Water Injection Flow on centre console, FEED RX-7 Sill covers. ICE: Alpine Full Speed iPod compatible CD in Dash. Carrozeria 200W speakers at each corner with remote tweeters. Quick Release Alpine 350W Subwoofer, with integrated neon backlighting.
